Domantas Sabonis Makes History with Triple-Double
Kings Victorious Over Lakers, 134-120
Sabonis' Dominance Leads Sacramento to Victory
WEB Domantas Sabonis showcased his exceptional talent on Saturday night, recording a remarkable triple-double to power the Sacramento Kings to a 134-120 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers. The Lithuanian forward finished with 13 points, 21 rebounds, and 12 assists, becoming the first Kings player to achieve a triple-double since DeMarcus Cousins in 2017.
Sabonis' performance was a testament to his versatility and court vision. He controlled the paint on both ends, grabbing rebounds and dishing out assists with ease. His ability to create scoring opportunities for his teammates was key to Sacramento's offensive success.
The Kings as a whole played with great energy and determination. De'Aaron Fox added 27 points, while Harrison Barnes chipped in with 22. The Lakers, led by Anthony Davis' 30 points, were unable to keep pace with Sacramento's balanced attack.
With this win, the Kings improve to 4-2 on the season. They will next face the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday night.
