Brunson Scores 43, Rallies Knicks to Win

Jalen Brunson scored 43 points, including 18 in the fourth quarter, to lead the New York Knicks to a 118-112 victory over the Indiana Pacers on Tuesday night.
The Knicks trailed by 10 points with less than six minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, but Brunson led them on a 16-0 run to give them the lead for good. Brunson hit a pair of three-pointers during the run, and he also converted a three-point play with 2:04 remaining to give the Knicks a 112-108 lead.
The Pacers had a chance to tie the game with 10 seconds remaining, but Tyrese Haliburton's three-point attempt bounced off the rim. Brunson grabbed the rebound and hit two free throws to seal the victory.
In addition to his 43 points, Brunson also had 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Julius Randle added 20 points and 10 rebounds, and R.J. Barrett had 18 points.
For the Pacers, Haliburton led the way with 27 points and 12 assists. Myles Turner added 22 points and 10 rebounds, and Buddy Hield had 18 points.
With the win, the Knicks improved to 37-34 on the season. They are currently in seventh place in the Eastern Conference standings.
The Pacers fell to 25-46 with the loss. They are currently in 13th place in the Eastern Conference standings.
