How to Share Your Wi-Fi Password from Your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch

Tired of your friends and family asking for your Wi-Fi password? Here's how to share it instantly with other Apple devices.

Are you tired of having to give out your Wi-Fi password to every friend and family member who comes to visit? With Apple's Personal Hotspot feature, you can easily share your iPhone's cellular data connection with other devices, so they can get online without having to ask for your password.

Here's how to set up Personal Hotspot on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch:

1. Open the Settings app. 2. Tap on Personal Hotspot. 3. Toggle the Personal Hotspot switch to the On position. 4. Your iPhone will now create a Wi-Fi network that other devices can connect to. 5. To connect to the Personal Hotspot network, open the Wi-Fi settings on your other device and select the network name that matches your iPhone's name. 6. Enter the password that is displayed on your iPhone.

Once you're connected to the Personal Hotspot network, you'll be able to access the internet on your other device. You can use Personal Hotspot to share your internet connection with up to five devices at a time.

Personal Hotspot is a great way to share your internet connection with others, and it's especially useful when you're in a location where there is no Wi-Fi available. So next time your friends and family ask for your Wi-Fi password, just tell them to connect to your Personal Hotspot instead.
